Brain Gym® – A program of physical movements that enhance learning and performance in all areas

Brain Gym® belongs to the field of Educational Kinesiology. It was developed in 1969 by Paul Dennison, an American educational therapist who worked with children and adults with learning disabilities. Brain Gym® offers 26 easy and enjoyable targeted activities that promote efficient communication between the brain and the rest of the body, increasing performance and creativity while alleviating stress.

Under stress, our limitations increase drastically.

School and the learning environment with its ever-growing expectations is a source of constant stress for students. This highly strenuous surrounding is where children spend the greater part of the day. This constant stress often leads to fatigue, the emergence of decreasing concentration, stress induced aches and pains, learning difficulties and behavioural challenges; it can alternatively lead to exacerbation of similar pre-existent difficulties.

Brain Gym® is a tool for the classroom and for the family at home to help not only learners but oneself overcome these challenges and reach new levels of excellence. [Read more about my Brain Gym® Course System here »]
